Is everything spinning out of control? Midwestern levees are bursting. Polar bears are adrift. Gas prices are skyrocketing. Home values are abysmal. Air fares, college tuition and health care border on un affordable. Wars without end rage in Iraq, Afghanistan and against terrorism. The sense of helplessness is even reflected in this year's presidential election. Each contender offers a sense of order — and hope. "It is pretty scary," said Charles Truxal, 64, a retired corporate manager.

things'll shape up. unless obamas elected then we'll be screwed even more. things are kinda bad now but we've been thru worse things like world war 2. seriously, that war caused more destruction then any other war ever and the era after that (1950s) were some of the best years of our country. people are being too pesimistic.
