Can we escape our old ways?

My personal saying is as humans our greatest need is the need for change, yet our greatest flaw is the defiance to change. Often we stray from our personalities. Little things add up to change who we are and the person we show. BUT, often events interrupt our pattern of being the untrue self. We have enlightening experiences bringing out the true us. Returning from this experience, back to our ‘old environment’, is the ‘old environment’ unable to foster our new ways, lapsing to our old ways OR do we learn

Yes, our new self is strong enough not to be corrupted in the same way again!
Our strength of character determines what happens. It's in the balance...
Right choice
It's inevitable we go back to our old ways, unless something happens to foster our new self.

GOD BLESS US , OUR GREATEST NEED TO CHANGE, LET GOD DO IT FOR US
if we allow God to reign inside our hearts, mind ,soul and spirit,we become a new creation not by flesh but by spirit our new self is strong enough ,
IF we just used our ability for GODs glory we can do everything through CHRISTJESUS!

its hard to change unless u want it and then sometimes for no reason we go back to the old ways but thats why people need a support system, and just always think whats better for u whatever the reason is, if its friends just think r they there just to use u 4 our money I know its hard but we have to think better of who is there 4 us 4 the right reasons not the bad

Things happen to change us all in little ways - Have to remember who you really are and then put it into practise - We all make mistakes and hopefully learn from them - I know I have!!

The only way we can change our selves truly is through Jesus Christ. Gods grace, and the Holy Spirit of God alone give us the strength to keep to the changes in ourselves we begin.

I believe we are who we are. BUT, we can change our bad habits if we really try and want to be a better person. Not for other people, but for inner peace within ourselves.

The meaning of the self can be changed through day to day interactions with others. The self is always changing for either the good of the self or the bad.
