3 a.m. blues - What do you do when you wake up in the middle of the night?
Many of us have experienced a sleepless night; not being able to get to sleep, or are in a state of being half asleep. Or the case may be that we have slept, but wake up for some reason. In both these cases, there is a point when we know we won’t be getting to sleep anytime soon, and lay on our beds wide awake. What do you do next?

Just lay there pondering; waiting for sleep or the morning, whichever comes first.

Listen to music or read a book; something relaxing to get you back to sleep.

Eat, or drink (a glass of milk).

Switch on late night television.
|

Go outside, on the balcony or porch and look at the stars.

Phone up a friend (preferably in a different time zone) and chat, or text someone.
